Over the years, the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) has worked hard to make an impact in our school and community. The CBE PTO has funded much-needed updates to our gym, our two playgrounds, the two outdoor classrooms/dining areas, and our guided reading centers. The multicultural assemblies, field trips, and classroom magazines are all part of our yearly operating budget. We also support our teachers with reimbursement funds to help offset their expenses.

OUR EVENTS
Field Trips
The PTO funds the buses and admissions to the field trips that each grade level takes. These are scheduled by the Team Lead for each grade. Students will go to the zoo, museums, George Ranch, and much more!
Science Night
An evening of fun with the family doing experiments. Students will be playing with everything from slime to rockets! Each year we have a different theme and this evening cannot be a success without parent volunteers.
School Assemblies
The past few years we have had Crocodile Encounters, HMNS Star Dome, Young Audiences Caipoeira, a virtual tour of the Houston Zoo, and many more fun 1-hour experiences for our students.
Holiday Parties
The PTO sponsors two parties every year, a Winter Party before Winter Break and a Valentine’s Party around Valentine’s Day. The PTO provides the food and we have our Room Parents provide the fun!
